| DentKist, Inc. was established in August 2000, to become
a world's best biomaterial company by some researchers
of Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST). DentKist
is a Hongneung venture valley-based company that produces
dental materials and devices through continuous research
and development.
Dental materials and devices are high value-added
medical products that are safe and can be manufactured
in a short period of time. The market for dental materials
and devices are growing each year over 10% due to the
aging society, increasing cavity rate, increasing average
income, and high level of life. However, the domestic
production does not meet the market need, which results
in domination of the imported goods.
Therefore, DentKist tries to produce many high-tech
dental materials and devices as well as the regeneration
of teeth by tissue engineering, and to help the domestic
market be more independent to the imported products.
Moreover, DentKist is looking forward to exporting the
products and to
contributing to improve the quality of national health
care.
